Photography Awards
I have had the privilege of featuring several of my photography pieces in various art shows and a journal.

Searching for Salamanders
This is my favorite film photo—ever! It is of my newlywed cousin, Maggie, and her husband, Evan. As the title suggests, they are searching for salamanders in the pond at Maggie's parents' house in the mountains of North Carolina. It was shot on my Olympus SuperZoom 105R and featured in Wheaton College's "Nonword and Upward" exhibit (fall 2025).

Fuego
Fuego is my first experimentation with long exposure film photography. This firework was shot off at my house in MN on the 4th of July. It was captured by my Kodak Ektar H35 Half Frame film camera and featured in Wheaton College's"Nonword and Upward" exhibit (fall 2025).

Motor Movement
This piece is a diptych 35mm half frame film photo taken on the streets of Coyoacán, a vibrant neighborhood in Mexico City. It was shot on my Kodak Ektar H35 Half Frame film camera and featured in Wheaton College's art and literary journal, Kodon (fall 2025 issue).

Chicago Patchwork
Chicago Patchwork is a piece of photoshopped art that I made in my digital studio class. It is a work of photographic cubism, as each puzzle piece is from a different time/day in Chicago. Together, they create a uniform look that captures the vibrancy of the "Windy City." The photos were captured on my class camera, a Fujifilm X-T30, and featured in Kodon.

A Curious Cow
My first ever photography award, A Curious Cow was featured in the Minneapolis Institute of Art’s "Foot-In-the-Door" exhibit (2020). It was shot on my iPhone 6 (what a throwback!) at the Fall Harvest Orchard in MN.

Una Conversación en Chimalhuacán
Taken on the streets of Chimalhuacán, a city in the State of Mexico, this film photo displays a conversation between natives. I used my Kodak Ektar H35 Half Frame Film camera and a roll of expired Kodak Gold 400 to take this photo, which was featured in the spring 2026 issue of Kodon.
